He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Gail Franks, Stuart Franks (Toby) and Jacki Heacox (Richard); his grandchildren, Jason Franks, Torey Franks (Sara), Colby Franks Pellegrini (Kay), Shane Heacox, Blaise Heacox and Remi Heacox; his great grandchild Arthur "Artie" Franks; and his pet Rajah. He was also cherished by husband of almost 65 years to his late darling wife.
