He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elizabeth Munro (Aikman) and George Allen Munro; his wife Joan; his children, Heather O'Neill, Robert Munro (Monique) and David Munro (Mary); his brother George Allen "Dick" Munro Jr.; his stepsister Edith Kooker (Aikman); and his son-in-law Michael O'Neill. He was also cherished by his ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
