He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard P. Hearn and Marie Powers Hearn; and his brother Lawrence Hearn. He is survived by: his wife Florence R. Hearn; his sisters, Mary Zinn, Gertrude Campbell, Dolores Green and Patricia Jonas; his children, Richard Hearn Jr. (Keith Herbert), Marianne Crawford (William), Thomas Hearn, Kathleen Ringler (Richard), Robert Ozdamar Hearn (Deniz Ozdamar Hearn), Joseph Hearn (Carolyn), Barbara Cocco (late Mark), Eileen Haselbarth (John), John Hearn (Patricia) and Rosemary Lynch; and his siblings, James Hearn (Mary), Catherine McErlane and Margaret "Peg" Kelly (Joseph). He is also survived by his 27 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren.
