He was predeceased by: his parents, Klara Bojko and Szymon Bojko; and his brother-in-law Thomas Beattie. He is survived by: his wife Annamarie Bojko; his son Joseph M. Bojko, Jr. (Megan Gasser); and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Beattie and David Beattie, Jr. (Eleanor).
