He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Fogarty); his children, Jody Hogman (Bruce), James Alan Kilmer, Jon Kilmer (Lynda), Karen Shannon (Daniel), Kate Austin (Scott) and Megan Kilmer; his grandchildren, Allie Motter (Jared), Kaitlin Sigelbaum (Malcolm), Tyler Kilmer, Kay Shannon, Riley Shannon, Leah Austin, Erin Austin and Maggie Austin; and his siblings, John Kilmer (Bobbi), Jerre Kilmer (Debbie) and Janet McQueen (Berry).
