He is survived by: his parents, Helen Eriksen and Gaspar Damanti; his son Joseph Damanti (Frances Casey); his aunt Carol Matthews; his uncle Earle Matthews; and his cousins, Niels Eriksen, John Eriksen, John Martin, Carol Miller, Kristine Stoltzfus and David Eriksen.
