It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth J. Mattes (Southampton, Pennsylvania), born in Washington, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 5, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Warren E. Mattes; her parents, Arthur D. Moyer and Martha Moyer (Rabenold); her brother Donald; and her granddaughter Jennifer Mattes.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Hagman (Edward) of Willow Grove, Edward Mattes (Donna) of Warrington, Charles Mattes (Jean) of Bedminster, Thomas Mattes (Susan) of Doylestown and Louise Dougherty (Joseph) of Roslyn; and her sister Doris Maruna of Lafayette. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
