We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Dorris M. Burns (Southampton, Pennsylvania), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Dorris is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Dorris' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband William H. Burns; and her parents, David Dunkle and Ethel Beech Dunkle. She is survived by: her daughters, Beth Ann Feiler (Mark), Christine M. Yoder (Robert) of Holland, PA and Jacquelyn R. Mannon (Thomas) of Warminster, PA.. She is also survived by grandchildren and seven adoring great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the North and Southampton Reformed Church (1380 Bristol Rd, Southampton, PA 18966).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to The American Cancer Society.
