She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Horn and Alfred Horn; her husband Robert A. Emig; her son Robert M.; and her boyfriend Karl Wendel II.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Collins (Robert), Ronald (Bonnie), Cheryl (Tony), Timothy (Cheryl), Thomas (Mary Beth) and David. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
