He was predeceased by: his parents, Morrell A. Jackson and Katherine Jackson; his former wife Sonia; his children, Andre (Claire), Erik (Aundrae), Brian Jackson (Angela) and Gail Grover; and his stepdaughter Theresa Giese (Ed).

He is survived by: his wife Claudette; his stepchildren, Annette Procyson (William), Michelle Bell (Jamie) and Andrew Tomasko (Geri); and his siblings, Maurice Jackson, Jacqueline Jackson and Amy Jackson. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
