He was predeceased by: his parents, Weldon Michael and Florence Michael. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Richard W. Michael, David G. Michael and Leslie Anne Umstead; and his sister Elaine K. Harry. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, two nephews and a niece.
