He is survived by: his parents, Frank Malara and Sandra Malara (Hummel); his son Maddox J. Malara; his sister Dayna Comitz (Jeff); his nieces and nephews, Poppy and Clay; his grandmother Ruth Pierce; and his aunts and uncles, Darlene, Rich Reynolds, Debbie, Ray Hummel and Joyce Smejkal. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a trust fund has been set up for Nick's son, Maddox Joseph Malara.
