We are sad to announce that on May 6, 2021, at the age of 73, Margaret Dawes of South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Mahaffey and Sarah Mahaffey (Kinley); her brothers, Raymond K. Mahaffey, Sr. and Ernest Mahaffey; her siblings-in-law, James Dawes, Bill Thacher, Jack Confer and Roberta Mahaffey; and her nephews, Raymond K. Mahaffey, II and Kevin Confer.
She is survived by: her sons, Chad Dawes (Jessica Fischer) of Elburn, IL, Jason Dawes (Korin) of Montoursville and Derrick Dawes (Renee) of South Williamsport; her grandchildren, McKenna Dawes, Dustin Myers, Kaitlyn, Kierstyn Dawes, Victoria "Tori" Hartranft, Naomi and Uriah Pfirman; and her siblings, Clifford Mahaffey (Arlene), Robert Mahaffey (Peggy Ann), Edna Confer (Ray Clymer), Helen Thacher, Carol Dawes and Diane Plank (Marlin). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
