With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joanna Merrick of South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, born in Linden, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 29, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. Fillman and Anna R. Fillman (Hostrander) of Linden; her husband Elmer Merrick; her sons, Joseph Jr., John W. and Stephen L. Sponhouse; and her siblings, William Fillman Jr., Evelyn Borrosco, Valiera Kuhns and John Fillman.
She is survived by: her daughter JoAnna Mary Poust (Richard); her sister Marilyn Burkholder (Mel); and her stepchildren, Douglas Merrick and Joylee Hellring (Bruce). She is also survived by many grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
