She was predeceased by: her husband Leo J. Samar; her siblings, Anthony Maggi, Sivione Maggi, Mary Kiodo, Louise Bellott and Antionette DeSanto; her son-in-law Frank E. Wright; and her great grandchild Christian Houghtaling.
She is survived by: her children, Constance L. Perry (Richard L.) of South Williamsport, Barbara A. Wright of South Williamsport and John D. Samar (Mary) of Montoursville; her grandchildren, Amy, Corey and Nicole; her great grandchildren, Aidan, Harper and Paige; and her sister Teresa Fredo of Williamsport. She is also survived by three children.
