Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Irene Hampton of South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 99, on March 18, 2023. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley M. Gaugler and Irene Gaugler (Tietbohl); her husband Herbert C. Hampton; her sister Sophia Marie Kast; and her son-in-law Theodore Steil.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Steil of South Williamsport, Kathryn Pratt (Dell) of Warrensville and Peggy Lukashunas of Montoursville; her grandchildren, Daniel Pratt (Naomi), Christopher Pratt (Cheyenne), Jennifer Gibson (Dave), Andrew Lukashunas (Roberto Torres) and Nathan Lukashunas; her great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Callie Pratt; her stepson Herbert Hampton; and her son-in-law Michael Lukashunas of Harrisburg. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mae's memory to the Backpack Program for children at Messiah Lutheran Church.
