He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Helsel and Evelyn Golubic (Woodward); and his siblings, Larry Helsel and Faye Steiner. He is survived by: his wife Linda K. Helsel (Shipman); his stepfather John Golubic; his brother-in-law Michael Shipman (Shary); his nieces and nephews, Melinda, Matt Shipman, Shelly Helsel (Lori) and Bill Helsel; and his friend Ron Guisewhite.
