He is survived by: his parents, Frederick and Pettit Sr.; his wife Sandra; his children, Eileen R. Hughes (Ethan) of Jersey Shore and Matthew J.; his stepdaughter Brenda Yanz of Pineville Louisiana; his siblings, Harold S. Pettit of Linden, Donna Peluso and Ruth Ann Wettlaufer; and also Margaret Day. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
