She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence A. Saar and Leila Miller Saar; her husband Bernard T. Roeckel; and her siblings, Clarence Saar and Kathryn M. Eck.
She is survived by: her children, Christine Shimp (Kirby) of South Williamsport, Kathleen Schumacher (late George) of Carlisle, Elizabeth Peters (Scott) of Merion Station and John Roeckel (Mary) of Chalfont; her siblings, Edward Saar of Williamsport and Leila Johns of Montoursville; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Amanda, Marnie, Emily, Amy, Colin, Kyle, J. B. and Erik; and her great grandchildren, Lilly, Luke, Sean and Liam.
