She was predeceased by: her parents, John Isbell and Edna Isbell; her husband Stewart Rae Jr.; her siblings, John, Harold Isbell and Inga Schramm; her grandson Anthony Schultz; and her great grandchild Aiden Blauvelt.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Rae of Sayre, Pamela Truesdale (Thomas) of Sayre, Stewart III Rae (Barbara) of Sayre, Timothy Rae of Waverly and Miriam Roedts (Chris) of Sayre; and her grandchildren, Sheila Armstrong, Amy Carlisle, Timothy Rae Jr. Stacey Nelson, Samantha Rollins, Allison, Rebecca Blauvelt, Jessica Blauvelt, Daniel Rae and Brittany Chadsey. She is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Waverly First Baptist Church, 23 Tioga St. Waverly, NY 13892 in loving memory of Norma D. Rae.
