He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Aloysius and Margaret Kennedy (McCall); his wife Mary Kennedy (Storto); his daughter Maureen Collins (Kennedy); and his siblings, Bernadette Green, James Kennedy, Mary Lou Betz and Leo Kennedy.
He is survived by: his children, John T. Kennedy II (Eileen) of Fredericksburg, VA and Karen Kennedy of South Park; and his grandchild Allison M. Kennedy of Fairfax, VA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
