We are sad to announce that on November 22, 2023, at the age of 61, Gary J. Carmen of South Park, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Carmen and Ida Carmen of Bethel Park; his son Tanner; and his sister-in-law Sally Carmen. He is survived by: his wife Joan Cunic-Carmen; his children, Colton and Danielle Peterson (Josh); his siblings, Tom Carmen (Laurie) and Sandy Jansante (Zeb); his stepchildren, Helen Banai (Derek Ewing), Joanie Trax (Chuckie), Stephanie Prins (Derek) and Zachary Banai (Brittany); and his grandsons, Samuel, Grant Banai, Luke Trax and Wesley Prins. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Children's Institute of Pittsburgh, 1405 Shady Avenue, Pgh., PA 15217, an organization Gary felt strongly about.
