Edward J. Zamecnik Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward J. Zamecnik of South Park, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 16, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward R. Zamecnik and Rita F. Zamecnik (Vietmeier); his sister Jeannie Zamecnik; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce McMonagle (late Jim) and Frank Spring.
He is survived by: his spouse Jan (Spring); his children, Patty Brown (Terry) and Eddie Zamecnik; his grandchildren, Adam, Jonathon (Melissa), Sadie Pisarcik (Colin), Ryan, Maddie and Addy Brown; his siblings, Sally Kuhn (Gary), John Zamecnik (Wendy) and Rita Pail (Mark); and his siblings-in-law, Jackie Grecco (Craig) and Jude Gallagher (Brian). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Donations can be made in Ed's name to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital.
