He was predeceased by: his parent George Merle Sr.; his brothers, Fred Willy, Mike Willy and Ed Willy; and his daughter-in-law Amie Willy.
He is survived by: his parent Teresa Cafaro Willy; his wife Judy Martin Willy; his children, John J. Willy, Stacy Willy, Ambridge Willy, Nicolette Willy and Josh Willy; his siblings, George R. Willy and Rose Mary Hronas Soltise; and also, South Heights and Aliquippa.
