It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Violet MacKel-Harris of South Fork, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 3, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood Harvey Reynolds and Lena Eleanor Reynolds-Zess (Shaffer); her husband James R. Harris; and her brothers, Charles and Glenn Reynolds.
She is survived by: her children, Trina M. Mackel of Dunlo, PA and Howard E. Mackel Jr.; her siblings, Shirley Browne, Betty Lou Novak (Jack), Esther Taylor, Stanford, Elwood Reynolds (Pat) and Edward Reynolds (Maureen); and her grandchildren, Amber Hanson, Gregory Mackel, Marshall Nagle Jr., Joseph Beaner, Tyler Mackel and William Nagle. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
We ask that those in attendance would follow CDC guidelines by wearing a mask and following social distancing. Burial will be held privately at Grandview Cemetery, Saxton, PA.
