She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mickolick and Catherine Mickolick (Sikorski); her husband John Novotny; and her siblings, Genevieve Dlusky, Delores Fyock, Elizabeth Stevanus, Joseph and Bernard Mickolick.
She is survived by: her children, Susan (Mark Kressley) and Anthony (Kristine); her grandchildren, Merrik Kressley, Kai Novotny, Haedyn Kressley, Silas Novotny and Lilly Novotny; and her sister Monica Reed. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
