He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Martin and Catherine Martin (Lentine); his wife Grace Martin (Myers); and his siblings, Angeline Reitz, Mary Mihalich, Joseph, James and Angelo Martin.
He is survived by: his son Samuel V.; his grandchildren, Sara A. and Eric L. Martin; and his sisters, Jennie Walukas, Rose Ruud, Catherine "Honey" Schlabig and Sarah West. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
