He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Crute and Edith Blanche Crute (Custer); his former wife Marge (Serenko); his wife Barbara (Vassle); his close friend Irene Alison; his grandchildren, April Ann Emerick and Brian J. Emerick; his siblings, Edward Crute, Lyla, Mary Crute and Virginia Buzzard; and his brother-in-law Thomas Buzzard.
He is survived by: his daughter Beth Ann Emerick (Greg); his brother Dave Crute (Jo); his nephew Tom Buzzard (Mary); his nieces, Emily Buzzard (Larry Smith), Pam Cornell (Michael) and Peggy Glacken (Paul); and his friends, Bill and Sue Lease.
