It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John A. Progar Sr. (South Fork, Pennsylvania), born in Saint Michael, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 9, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Progar and Elizabeth Progar (Roeder); and his siblings, Paul, William, Edward, Henry, Andy, Louis, Mickey, Rose Marie Myers and Elizabeth Osman.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Progar (Shertzer); his sons, John Jr. (Kathleen) and Joseph (Martie); his grandson Richard Garchar (Bianca); his great grandchildren, Allie and Alex; his granddaughter Kate Guelich (David); his great grandchildren, Maddie and Robert; his grandson Bradley Garchar (Jamie); his great grandchild Nicholas; his grandchildren, Joseph Progar (Brianna), John, Matthew, Michael Progar and Michelle Friedmann (Bryan); his great grandchildren, Leo and Roman; his brother Donald (Joan); and also Trixie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
