With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fern E. Swartzentruver (South Fork, Pennsylvania), born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, who passed away on August 26, 2018 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Jr. and Gloria Yerich, Jr. (Peterson); and her son-in-law Ralph Layton. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Layton of Ebensburg, Jessie Swartzentruver, Lorraine, Mays, Jenny Dallas, Keith Mock, South Fork, Jay Swartzentruver, Sharon (Updyke) and Dale Swartzentruver of Windber; her grandchildren, Joshua, Keri and Ashley; and her former husband Jay C. Swartzentruver. She is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
