He was predeceased by: his parents, Byrl Mackel and Annetta Mackel (Thomas); his wife Eleanor J. (Navatsyk); his daughter Martina Sanderson; and his siblings, Verdene Hancock, Devon, Howard and Arthur.
He is survived by: his children, JoAnn Mackel, MaDonna (Tom Cruse), Edward (Michelle), William (Carol) and Renee (John Filla); and his sisters, Lorene Gillespie of South Fork and Shelby Manges of South Fork. He is also survived by grandchildren; and fourteen cherished great grandchildren.
