He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Sr. Lester and Dora E. Lester (Hull); his wife Betty M. Lester (Gramling); his great grandchild Hannah Lewis; and his brothers, Eugene, Jacob Jr. and Ronald "Glenn" Lester.
He is survived by: his children, Terri (Rick Lewis), Donald Jr., Daniel (Karen), Mount Hope, Penny (Brad Langworthy), Belmont, Susan (James Sandoval) and Cover Hill; his brother Gary (Donna); his sister-in-law Sophie Lester (Dominguez); and his daughter-in-law Arlene Lester (Ickes). He is also survived by grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
