Skrout (South Fork, Pennsylvania), born in Summerhill, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 28, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Magnus Theobold and Sarah Adelaide Werfel (Noon); her husband William H Skrout; and her siblings, Elizabeth "Betty" Robertine Birkenheiser, Mary Grace DeCarlton, Joseph, Leona Catherine Glacken, Ronald Joseph, Marie Shirley Shostek, Roberta Magdalene Blasic and Peter Augustine.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Brian Keith Skrout and Lisa Ann Kline (Skrout). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and friends.
Co-leader of the Great Books Foundation and taught adult literacy classes.
