He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Earl Bowen and Marion E. Bowen (Bray); and his siblings, Carole Yeager and William D. Bowen. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy L. Bowen (Ellenberger); his children, David (Misti Parkin), Debbie (Mark Wadsworth) and Dawna (Scott Gerney); his grandchildren, Jarrett Bowen, Jensen Bowen, Nathan Gerney (Michaela), Kayla Gerney and Matthew Wadsworth; and his great grandchild Sylvia Brae Gerney. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial donations to the Humane Society of Cambria County.
