With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dave P. Wright (South Fork, Pennsylvania), born in Wilmore, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 2, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry J. "Buzz" Wright and K. Ruth Wright (Mangus); his sons, Kevin and Kenneth; his brothers, Norman Bruce "Dutch" and Wendell D. Wright; and his parents-in-law, Lloyd and Violet Ross.
He is survived by: his wife Velda K. Wright (Ross); his children, Keith (Kim), Kurt (Jess), Wendy and Mindy (Tim); his siblings, George Earl (Nancy), Ida Beyer (Ed) and Cindy Penatzer (Dave); his grandchildren, Lacey, Katie (Brody Batdorf), Sara, Josh and Erin; and his great grandchildren, Lincoln, Luke, Brooklyn and Levi.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc. (621 Maple St, South Fork, PA 15956). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at the Mount Olive Cemetery (780 Fairview Ave, Sidman, PA 15955).
