He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Tim Miller; and his brothers, George Mattis and Eugene Mattis. He is survived by: his parents, Andrew Mattis and Helen Mattis (Lippen); his spouses, Anna M. Mattis (Hight) and June; his daughter Laura A. Miller; his grandson Daniel Mihm; his great grandchild Noah Mihm; his siblings, Mildred Burkett of Scalp Level, Irene Dobrowolsky of Windber, Edward, Louise Stumpo, Davidsville and Andrew of Windber; and his niece Barbara Mihalko (Lindsay) of Windber. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
