He is survived by: his wife Florence L. Smith (Petrunak); his children, Nancy Broad (Mario), Fredericksburg, Richard Smith (Apryl), Johnstown and Betty Jane; his grandchildren, Adam (Susan), Tony (Lisa), Allison (Ben), Benjamin (Mindy), Timothy, Aaron (Melissa) and Jason; and his siblings, Mary Catherine Walter of Florida, George Smith (Patricia) and Virginia Gurchik (Lynn).
