We are sad to announce that on January 18, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Lois Shirley McElhaney of South Connellsville, Pennsylvania, born in Connellsville, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Carl D. McElhaney Jr.; and her siblings, Donald, Leonidas, Leroy Herrington, Edna Shaw, Leona Rittenour, Fern Shawley, Lorraine Holt, Ramona Mitts, Helen Traynor and Marion Herrington.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melanie S. Joy of Denver, CO and Cheryl L. Fuchs (Julius "Rusty" Fuchs) of Lansdale, PA; her brother-in-law Barry McElhaney of South Connellsville, PA.; and her grandchildren, Aaron Geoffrey Joy, Mary Elizabeth, Kathryn Rebekah and Nicholas Christopher Fuchs.
The family would like to remind folks to use face masks and practice social distancing to protect themselves and their loved ones during the pandemic. They advocate for obtaining a vaccine to combat COVID-19.
