He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl S. Tackett and Joy Bartley; his son Ryan Vance; and his grandson Jordan Tackett. He is survived by: his close friend Sue; his girlfriend Frances "Sue" Porterfield; and his siblings, James Tackett, Lanny Tackett, Kay Wash, Cheryl Cook, Doris Went and Ada Vitelli. He is also survived by his loving children, many grandchilden, great grandchildren and stepdaughters.
