Shaffer (South Canaan, Pennsylvania), born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 11, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Peter Shaffer; and his children, Brenda Kay Shaffer, Jean Marie Shaffer and James A. Shaffer, Jr.. He is survived by: his spouse Shelvie Shaffer (Savitz); his parent Thelma Shaffer (Dent); and his son Harry Shaffer (Nancy) of South Canaan. He is also survived by 3 granddaughters, 2 great-grandsons, and 2 great-granddaughters; several nieces, nephews, cousins.
