He was predeceased by: his siblings, Susan Pozza, Armando "Mugsy" and Joseph (June); and his nephews, Gary, Randy Pozza and James Bannon, Jr..
He is survived by: his sister Lorraine Bannon (James, Sr); his nephew David Pozza; his nieces, Carole Pozza Sickler, Diane Pozza and Renee Chernin; and his sister-in-law Grace Pozza.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the St. Joseph's Center 2010 Adams Ave. Scranton, PA 18509.
