With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan Mary Reese Burke of South Abington Township, Pennsylvania, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 16, 2022 at the age of 53. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother Barry Reese. She is survived by: her parents, Ted Reese and Dorothy Vitale Reese; her children, Jamie Ksiazek (Michelle), Katherine Fangs of Clarks Summit and Abbey Burke of Scranton; her grandchildren, Evelyn and Thomas Ksiazek; and her sisters, Linda Arcurie of Mt. Cobb, Judy Giacometti of Old Forge, Cathy Merenich of Colorado and Teri McAndrew of Newton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations are made to "The Susan Burke Foundation for Colon Cancer" through the Scranton Area Foundation.
