He is survived by: his wife Edith Just Suydam; his children, Matthew Suydam (Elizabeth) of Sicklerville, NJ and Jocelyn Suydam of Old Forge, PA; his grandchildren, Emily Stewart (Kenneth), Anna Marie Anastasi (Michael Madden), Joshua Suydam (Madeline) and Jacob Suydam (Meghan Kaminski); and his great grandchildren, Lucas Suydam and Connor Stewart.

Ron's body was donated to Jefferson Medical College through Humanity Gifts.
