He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Holden, and Elizabeth Holden, Sr. (Miles); and his daughter Mary Lou Gawrys. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Holden (Craven); his children, Richard L. Holden Jr. (Lisa) of Ashburn, VA and Bonita Russell (Roy) of Dalton; his son-in-law Christopher Gawrys of Clarks Summit; his brothers, Bruce Holden (Patricia) of Clarks Summit and David Holden (Betty) of Factoryville; his grandchildren, Nikki King, Katti Gawrys, Christopher Russell, Bridgette Hoffman, Richie Holden III, Melissa Russell and Becca Gawrys; and his great grandchildren, Katti Carol Hoffman and Jason Hoffman.
