With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lubov Swingle of South Abington Township, Pennsylvania, born in Wood, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lubov left this world on November 5, 2024 at the age of 100, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Floyd B. Swingle; her parents, Alexander Basalyga and Stephanie Basalyga (Rydzanycz); her son Floyd B. Swingle Jr.; her siblings, John, Frank, Peter, Joseph, Russell, Eva Basalyga, Olga Dzbinski, Ann Pivovarnik, Daria Schuster, Mary Kneiss and Delores Naglak; and her son-in-law James Reese.
She is survived by: her daughter Evelyn Reese; her grandsons, Eric (Tamsen), Scott (Lori), Chad Reese (Michele), Brian (Jessica) and Roger Swingle (Dawn); her great grandchildren, Alessandra, Hunter, Kyra, Cole, Travis, James, Gineva, Dawson, Benjamin, Parker, Thomas and Delana; and her sister Sonja Fueshko (Stephen). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. (418 S State St, Clarks Summit, PA 18411). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Nicholas Orthodox Greek Catholic Church (505 Jefferson Ave, Scranton, PA 18510).
