We are sad to announce that on March 8, 2025, at the age of 71, James Caparo of South Abington Township, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Caparo and Mary Caparo (Yarima); and his sister Patricia Zabielski. He is survived by: his wife Karen Yurechko; his niece Nicole Boice; his nephews, Tim and Jeff Zabielski; and his pets, Lily and Loki.
Viewing was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Jennings - Calvey Funeral and Cremation Services (111 Colburn Ave, Clarks Summit, PA 18411). A Mass was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church (301 S State St, Clarks Summit, PA 18411). A burial was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the Cathedral Cemetery (1708 Oram St, Scranton, PA 18504).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Griffin Pond Animal Shelter.
