She was predeceased by: her parents, Willi and Berta; and her brother Peter Dannapfel. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Kaeb; her sister Ursula Schirrmann of Bremerhaven, Germany; her children, Kristine Morgan (Kaeb) of Blakely, Eric Kaeb (Janine) of West Scranton and Susan Bennett (Charles Bennett) of Pittsford, NY; and her grandchildren, Dylan, Ethan, Emily, Charlie, Grace and Molly.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Trinity Congregational Church (229 S Main Ave, Scranton, PA 18504). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services (418 S State St, Clarks Summit, PA 18411).
