With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dimokratia Apostolaros of South Abington Township, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 5, 2022 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Archonto Mbaliou and Charalamnos Mbaliou; her husband Panayiotis "Peter" Apostolaros; her son Anthony Apostolaros; and her sisters, Olimbia Mounthano and Dimitra Tsiviki.
She is survived by: her daughters, Angie Apostolaros of Archbald, PA and Irene Farr (Robert) of Medford, NJ; her daughter-in-law Maria Apostolaros of Mullica Hill, NJ.; her grandchildren, Theodore Gianacopoulos, Peter Gianacopoulos, Gregory Gianacopoulos (Sara), Christina Coleman (Michael), Andrew Farr, Golfo "Sophia" Tyris (Nickolas), Artemis "Temi" Dolenc (Gabriel) and Peter Apostolaros; and her great grandchildren, Michael Tyris, Alena, Toni Dolenc and Leo Gianacopoulos.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 32 E Ross St., Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania 18701.
