He was predeceased by: his sons, Alfred and Paul Tassey. He is survived by: his wife Ella Sherman Tassey; his children, Deborah Tremmel of Scranton and David Tassey, Jr. of Springbrook; and his sister Terry Stout of Gouldsboro. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
