He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonathan B. Godshall and Mamie G. Godshall (Metz); and his siblings, Willard, Ernest, Jonathan Newton, Stanley, Eva Greaser and Anna Landis.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie Godshall (Gahman); his children, Jeffrey L. Godshall (Donna) of Harleysville, PA, Steven R. Godshall (Kristin) of Souderton, PA and Kristina K. Whetzel (Richard) of Rockingham, VA; his grandchildren, Micah, Jessica, Rebecca, Randall, Derek and Samantha; and his sisters, Miriam Detwiler of New Milford, PA and Verna Mae Detweiler of Souderton, PA..
